You can either book a flight to London and travel to Birmingham or arrive directly in Birmingham's own airport.

These are approximations of costs and tips to transport from the airports to 'Birmingham New Street' which is the city centre of Birmingham!

car park 1 : head towards Door A at the terminal and cross the road in front of the Diamond House building. Walk past the Diamond House Building towards car park 1

car park 2 & 3 : exit at door C at the terminal and walk towards the Regis building on your left which will take you directly outside car park 2 and on the road opposite the Regis building you will see car park 3.

ℹ️ How to buy tickets:

  1. Simply tap in when entering the bus using your contactless payment methods (ex: ApplePay, Debit Card, etc.). No need to tap out when exiting the bus.

  2. Purchase from your phone using the NHX app: when entering the bus, you can scan the QR code at the bottom of the reader (shown in the app)

  3. Purchase a ticket from the driver when entering the bus (they can't give spare change)

ℹ️ How to buy tickets:

  1. Purchase tickets using trainline app or trainpal app. You can also purchase a railcard which is a long-term membership that will give you a discount for every ticket journey you purchase. This can be seen in the daily transportation section.

  2. Purchase at the counter.

You need to purchase a ticket and scan the barcode at the front of the gates of the station, trains in Birmingham doesn't use tap in systems with debit/credit cards.

πŸ“ Use the free air-link shuttle in the airport which is located at the second floor of the airport (use the lifts). This will take around 2-5 minutes. Afterwards, you can head straight and enter the train station at the right side.
